That's me and my family. I'm the proud mama of the sweetest little boy in town, loving wife to that handsome guy and try my best to maintain a healthy and balanced life. I'm passionate about fitness and love most activities that involve movement, with the exception of sports that involve balls, I've just never been good at those. I love running, yoga, dance, barre3, hiking, biking and most things that involve being outdoors.
The other thing you should know about me, is I'm a social worker in a medical clinic. So I spend a good chunk of my day talking to people about change. How to implement change. The challenges and roadblocks to doing so. The ambivalence that we face when the path of least resistance is so much more enticing. Change is hard. I know it first hand from the people I work with and my own experience. But here I am ready to embark on 90 days in an effort to live my life with integrity.

To me integrity means that what I say and what I do are in alignment. It is the foundation for how I try to live my life. I strongly believe that people who live and breath integrity have healthier, happier and longer lives because there is no compensating, everything is transparent. Even Gandhi agrees with me. He says, "Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony." And really, who is going to argue with Gandhi?
So, here are my goals for the upcoming 90 days.
1. In the first 30 days I will implement a workout plan that is sustainable. My goal is 3 times a week, with an optional weekend activity.
2. In the second 30 days I will focus more on food. Originally, I had planned to eliminate sugar, but who am I kidding, goals of elimination are never productive. So instead, my goal is to add a vegetable(s) to 2 meals a day.
3. For the last 30 days, I will aim to replace coffee with tea and drink 70 ounces of water a day.
The idea is that goals will build upon each other and ultimately lead to a healthier me!
